Movie Event to Benefit North Shore Historical Museum
The event features a screening Alfred Hitchcock's "North by Northwest," parts of which were filmed at the museum.

A Sept. 13 screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest” on the film’s 55th Anniversary will serve as a benefit of the North Shore Historical Museum.
The film stars Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint and James Mason, and was filmed at the museum, the former Justices Court Building.

The event features cocktails at 7 p.m., followed by the movie at 8 p.m.
It is hosted by Assemb. Charles Lavine, D-Glen Cove, Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce and the Glen Cove Business Improvement District.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to bring people into the North Shore Historical Museum for an event and highlight the history behind the building itself,” Lavine sais.
