The Music of John Denver at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival
Sunday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.

2023 TITLE SPONSOR - THE TERIAN FAMILY AND RALLYE MOTOR COMPANY
On Sunday, August 27, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival will present the Music of John Denver. The free performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in Morgan Park.
You’ll want to be at the concert if you love country music as exemplified by John Denver! In 2017, Morgan Park audiences for singer/songwriter Ted Vigil’s tribute were awed by how closely Vigil looked and sounded like Denver. Steve Wiesberg, Denver’s lead guitarist, has called the similarities “uncanny.” Vigil, winner of the National Traditional Country Music Association’s Rising Legend award, performs internationally in all types of venues, including twice for John Denver’s own Windstar Foundation in Aspen, CO.

“A giant crowd pleaser in 2017, we are so very pleased to be bringing Ted Vigil and his John Denver tribute show back to the stage. Join us as we wrap up our season celebrating a true icon of county music. We hope everyone will join us for this last show of our season,” said the festival chairman, Tom Suozzi.
All concerts are held at Morgan Memorial Park in Glen Cove, overlooking the harbor at Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street. The free concerts begin at 7 pm.
