Needy Families Celebrate Thanksgiving Thanks to Glen Cove Organizations

More than 50 needy families received this special holiday gift.

The East Island Neighbors Helping Neighbors along with the Friends of the Glen Cove Youth Board and the Glen Cove Youth Bureau participated in their holiday Turkey Drive by preparing Thanksgiving food bags for local families in need.

These East Island residents received prepared food bags filled with all the items needed to hold a bountiful Thanksgiving feast.

This is the seventh year in a row NHN has contributed to this cause.

NHN was established in 2008 by resident Julie McCann for the East Island community to help their neighbors in need.
