Physical Education Honors For Glen Cove Students

​Ten Glen Cove City School District students were honored at the Outstanding Physical Education Awards Ceremony earlier this month.

Ten Glen Cove City School District students were honored at the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance’s annual Outstanding Physical Education Awards Ceremony at Roslyn High School on May 11.

The award recognizes the efforts of one male and one female student exiting second-, fifth- and eighth-grades in June for exhibiting a physically active lifestyle and excellent fitness, demonstrating responsible personal and social behavior, valuing physical activity and wellness, good character and leadership and overall excellence in Physical Education.
