Police: Man Arrested for Selling Stolen Property From Locust Valley Home at Pawn Shop

He was arrested Tuesday.

Authorities arrested a man on Tuesday for possession of stolen property that were proceeds from Locust Valley burglary earlier in the year after police said he sold the stolen items at a pawn shop.

According to authorities, Zachary Bruscella, 35, of Bayville, sold an undisclosed amount of stolen jewelry at Smithtown Gold and Diamond pawn shop in Hicksville.

Second Precinct Police officers located Bruscella at his residence on Tuesday and placed him under arrest.

He was charged with third degree criminal possession of stolen property and was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
