Nassau County Serial Robber Strikes Again

OCEANSIDE, NY - An Oceanside Dunkin' Donuts was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night by a man police believe is responsible for at least seven other robberies in Nassau County this month.

According to police, the man entered the Dunkin' Donuts located at 3151 Lawson Boulevard at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, jumped the counter and demanded money from the store clerk, police said.

The clerk complied, giving the man an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled on foot southbound on Lawson Boulevard, police said.

The man was described as black, with a medium build and wearing a white hat, jeans, sunglasses and a scarf.

There were two employees in the store at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.

The man is suspected to be connected to a total of eight robberies this month across Nassau including Dunkin' Donuts stores in East Meadow, New Hyde Park and Plainview, Subway sandwich stores in Merrick and Baldwin and a 7-Eleven in Bethpage.

Police released a sketch of the robber after the New Hyde Park robbery on March 20.
