"Schoolhouse Rocks Live" At Middle School Through Sunday

Performance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Robert M. Finley presents its production of "Schoolhouse Rock Live" at the Wunsch Center starting today and lasting through the weekend, the school said.

The musical is based on the classic 1970's educational cartoon "Schoolhouse Rock," but has been transformed into a narrative about a young teacher who watches the program to cool his nerves over his first day on the job.

The cartoon's characters come alive, showing Tom how to win over his students using music and imagination - the same tools the original show used in catchy segments like "Just a Bill on Capitol Hill" and "Conjuntion Junction" to teach children about history, politics and other topics.
