Tobay's Distinguished Artists Concert Series begins Oct. 5

The series features a number of performances at various libraries throughout Oyster Bay in October and November.

The Town of Oyster Bay is kicking off its 2014-15 Distinguished Artists Concert, with the first performance on Sunday, Oct. 5.

  1. Sunday, October 5, at 2 p.m. at the Bethpage Public Library located on 47 Powell Ave, Bethpage; the NY Gilbert & Sullivan Players will perform “The Wand’ring Minstrel,” a show featuring songs and scenes in concert dress with props.
  2. Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m., pianist Vivian Choi will perform a classical piano solo recital at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library located on 999 Old Country Road, Plainview.
  3. Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2:00 p.m., JFK & the White House Concerts orchestra will perform a diverse musical selection from the John F. Kennedy years ranging from Classical, Jazz, Bluegrass, film scores, Beatles and more all at the Bethpage Public Library located on 47 Powell Ave, Bethpage.
