Venditto: Town Was 'Very Lucky' During Blizzard
Town of Oyster Bay thanks residents for cooperation during blizzard.

As this week’s blizzard tapered off, Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto thanked residents for cooperating with official regulations.
“Town forces were out throughout the night hours working to keep our neighborhoods safe,” said Venditto in a statement Tuesday. “Overall, we were very lucky during this storm, as we’ve had no reports of downed trees or flooding.”
Venditto added, “Thank you to our Town residents for staying off the roads, and for enabling our crews to do their jobs by keeping vehicles off the streets.”
