• Scotia man jailed for allegedly burglarizing 2 local eateries (wnyt.com) — Police say a man already on parole has been charged in connection with a July 29 burglary at Oishi Asian Cuisine on Sacandaga Road in Glenville, as well as a separate break-in at Pizzaiolos in Scotia. Investigators credit surveillance cameras from local businesses and municipal systems in Scotia with helping them identify a suspect after a series of business break-ins.
