The space previously housed Open Kitchen, a fast-casual restaurant and food market, for about a decade.

The asking rent reached $72 per square foot, according to Crain's.

Work has already begun on preparations for the restaurant's opening, with a permit filed for the installation of one passenger elevator at the building.

The restaurant group also operates Sappe in the West Village, Soothr in the East Village and Soothr LIC in Long Island City, which opened in September 2025.

The Michelin Guide recommended the East Village location of Soothr in 2021.

The owners have not announced an opening date or released menu details.
