6 Things to Know About The Design Showhouse Tag Sale

Sunday is the the much-awaited Design Showhouse tag sale at Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve, from 12-4 p.m. It’s your chance to for holiday shopping or to spruce up your home, while also giving back: 10% of your purchase goes directly to Friends of the Sands Point Preserve

Here are six things to know about the tag sale.

1. The Showhouse charge is $30 per person from 10 AM-12 PM. Your registered ticket is valid for free re-entry.

2. The Tag Sale hours are from 12 PM - 4 PM. There is no cost to shop, but if you wish a copy of the Journal, there is $10.00 donation.

3. Designers who are not participating in this Tag Sale, will have their rooms closed.
4. 10% of your purchase may go directly to Friends of the Sands Point Preserve to help support next year’s Design Showhouse and ongoing restoration projects. We accept check and credit cards, payable at the front desk.
5. Please arrange delivery of large items directly with the seller/designer.

6. Visit the Gift Shop, open until 4:00 PM today. Many items are reduced for holiday shopping.
