• Great Neck Library to host law career panel for teens and parents (longislandpress.com) — Local teens and parents can explore law careers at a free panel with three Nassau County attorneys at the Great Neck Library's Main Branch on Sept. 20. Speakers will explain daily work, specialties like immigration and school law, and different legal career paths. Registration is recommended, but nonresidents may attend if space allows.
   

• Conrad Xu's Introduction (cuny.edu) — A Baruch College freshman introduces himself as having grown up in Great Neck on Long Island, sharing how his suburban upbringing and immigrant family background shaped his love of sports and self-improvement. He describes using lifting and hiking to build structure and understand new places, and says he's eager to meet new people and grow during his first year of college.
