Learn how to exercise safely with osteoporosis and osteopenia while building strength, balance, and mobility in this three-part workshop series.
Each session includes expert guidance on bone health, osteoporosis care, balance, strengthening, and nutrition, followed by a movement class led by a master Pilates and yoga instructor. Participants will leave with practical tools to support bone health and overall well-being in a supportive environment.



Dates: September 15, 22,&nbsp;and 29 | 10:00-11:30 am (ET)
Location: Hospital for Special Surgery, 535 E. 70th Street, New York, NY 
Cost: $75/3 classes


Registration for all three sessions is required. Participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.

Join us for ALL&nbsp;LEVELS&nbsp;FENCING&nbsp;designed for children ages 7+! This class combines the fundamentals of fencing with fun, interactive games to create an engaging and memorable experience for young participants. Whether your child is new to fencing or simply loves active play, this class is the perfect way to introduce them to the art of fencing in a safe, social, and supportive environment. All students will be provided their own cleaned fencing garb to be used weekly. Maximum 8 students per class.

Chess in the Park — Free Community Chess Event
Make Your Move Chess Academy is excited to co-host Chess in the Park with Chess and Beyond as a free community event to give back to local families and bring students together through chess.After the great success of our June event, we are excited to host this event again and welcome even more students and families from the community.
This family-friendly event is open to students of different levels and will include both rated and unrated play. Whether your child is new to chess or already has tournament experience, this is a great opportunity to play, compete, meet other chess players, and enjoy a positive outdoor chess experience.
The tournament will have 3 sections:
Unrated Section — great for beginners and casual players U1000 Rated Section — for rated players under 1000 Open Rated Section — for stronger and more experienced players
Players will compete for trophies and gift card prizes.
Chess helps students build focus, confidence, sportsmanship, patience, and problem-solving skills. We are proud to offer this event for the community and create a fun, welcoming space for children and families to enjoy the game together.
Families are welcome to stop by, cheer on the players, and learn more about local chess opportunities through Make Your Move Chess Academy and Chess and Beyond.
