Storytime and Dance Party Celebrating Día de los niños / Día de los libros at the Great Neck Library

Join us for a world language storytime, which will be followed up with an international music dance party! Día de los niños / Día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30.

Día is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. It is a daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages, and cultures. This event will take place at the Large Multipurpose Room of the Great Neck Library’s Main Building, located at 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck, NY 11023. No registration is required and the event is open to all, though best recommended for families with children ages Birth to Grade 6.
