A social skills class for children, teens and young adults of all abilities, hosted through the Great Neck Park District.
This is the first of 8 classes. Each one teaches a single skill and then gives everyone a chance to practice it: starting a conversation, reading social cues, joining a group, making a friend. Instruction happens in small groups, and there's a game built into every session so practice happens while people are actually enjoying themselves.
