The first Persian Father’s Day Luncheon hosted by the Sephardic Heritage Alliance Inc. (SHAI) at the Great Neck Social Center was celebrated on June 16.
Joining in the festivities were town officials including Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Councilwomen Lee Seeman and Anna Kaplan.
SHAI hosts many events and programs throughout the year geared towards keeping the family and Persian-Jewish community together.
