UPDATE: Geller to Speak in Great Neck Sunday; Protest Planned in Mineola
Activist to give speech after cancellation by Great Neck Synagogue Wednesday.

Patch has learned Pamela Geller has accepted an invitation to speak Sunday morning at Chabad of Great Neck — and in New Jersey Sunday night.
"Two courageous and magnificent rabbis have asked me to speak on Sunday. Rabbi Yoseph Geisinsky of the Chabad, Great Neck and Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg of Congregation Beth-El in Edison, New Jersey, have both invited me to speak at their synagogues on Sunday — the same day I was scheduled to speak at the Great Neck Synagogue on Long Island until that synagogue caved to a leftist/Islamic supremacist smear and intimidation campaign," said Geller on her Atlas Shrugs blog Thursday.
Geller said the rabbi's that invited her are standing up for freedom of speech and the defense of the Jewish people. "Above all, they're standing up for the truth," said Geller.

Great Neck Synagogue cancelled Geller's talk, "The Imposition of Sharia in America,” as media exposure escalated. Apparently, legal liability and potential security exposure caused the synagogue to call the talk off.

On Wednesday, Geller said she was sent a message from Great Neck Synagogue officials informing her of the cancellation.
"In an era of heightened security concerns it is irresponsible to jeopardize the safety of those who call Great Neck Synagogue home, especially our children, even at the risk of diverting attention from a potentially important voice in the ongoing debate," said the synagogue, according to Geller.
Geller, a blogger, author, political activist and commentator, is the founder and publisher of Atlas Shrugs.
A coordinated campaign by prominent officials to cancel Geller's appearence has been underway since last month.
Geller helped organize the rally against the proposed "Ground Zero Mosque" on September 11, 2011, said the cancellation of the Great Neck talk "was a sad day for freedom-loving peoples caused by relentless intimidation, bullying and threats."
Update: 6:12 p.m. April 12, 2013
Geller said in a statement Thursday, after the 10 a.m. event at Chabad Synagogue on Sunday, she will be reconvening in front of Habeeb Ahmed's Nassau County Human Rights Commission office, at 240 Old Country Rd., Mineola, at 1 p.m. to further inter-faith dialogue and also to protest recent efforts to intimidate the Great Neck Synagogue into cancelling her scheduled speech there.
Geller said she will be joined by Robert Spencer and Dr. Andrew Bostom.
