Long Island physician recognized for his commitment to compassionate patient care
The American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), an international medical society honored Great Neck resident Dr. Marc Wilkenfeld, the Chief of the Division of Occupational Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, with The Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award. The award recognizes a practicing physician who demonstrates the ideals of compassionate and respectful care for a patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
