Description: British multi-platinum music maker John Ford of the Strawbs (The Monks, Hudson Ford, Blackmore’s Night +) and his band perform at Gold Coast Arts Center as first show of his Fall 2014 NE Tour Dates. Amongst show highlights, Ford plans a portion of his set as a Surf Rock-in’ Ventures The Shadows Tribute set on lead guitar, in addition to his Brit Rock Top of the Pops hits Part of the Union, Heavy Disguise, The Monks’ Bad Habits, Hudson Ford and more! Ford performed this past Labor Day Wked with Lenny Kaye’s Nuggets @ City Winery sharing the bill with Patti Smith, Edward Rogers and more!

Opening Act: DRIVE- A TRIBUTE TO THE CARS - Dedicating their talents to produce accurate recreations of Classic Songs from the 80’s decade. Highlighting a Special Tribute to “The Cars”, lead singer, Mary Beth Cronin, thrills audiences with her transformation to the persona of Ric Ocasek, while Lou Conte on Guitar & Vocals, Richard Honoski on Guitar and Vocals, Cosmo Lo Cricchio on Keyboards & Vocals, Billy Reutlinger on Bass Guitar & Vocals and John Frondelli on Drums & Vocals produce an Authentic Recreation of The Music of “The Cars”.
