Snow Causes Early Closings Tuesday

Tuesday's snow has prompted several early closings in Great Neck. 

The Great Neck Public Schools have announced an early dismissal with the following schedule:

• High Schools - 12 p.m.
• Middle Schools - 12:45 p.m.
• Elementary Schools - 1:30 p.m.
• Morning Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program - Regular Dismissal 12:40 p.m.

The following Great Neck Public Schools activities are canceled:

• Parkville Universal Pre-Kindergarten p.m. Classes and Parkville P.M. Fun for Fours Program
• All After-School and Evening Activities
  SCOPE After-School Child Care Program
• Adult Education Classes - Canceled After 12:00 p.m.

Great Neck Arts Center closes at 12 p.m., and will be closed Wednesday. 

The Long Island Blood Drive at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
