A practice of a simple breathing sequence is what connects us back to our cellular balance. With focus, like a laser, it can cut through anything-even the stress of the present moment, to cultivate it, to play full on and have it work for you.
Whether Lawyer, Client, Divorcee or Child here is an Rx 4 Prevention 911. The more we practice our breath cycles when things are flowing -and not acute- the easier it is to get back into our flow the next time. Your brain creates new neural pathways each and every time you mindfully breathe. Upon rising, before a meal, before sleep, at a business meeting, making dinner or thinking of a response in a very challenging conversation. Doing this balances your sympathetic and para-sympathetic nervous system, balances right and left hemispheres of the brain, re-oxygenates the blood, calms the releasing of stress hormones such as cortisol, the number one hormone responsible for much of today’s illnesses-anxiety, depression, diabesity, to name a few. Smoothing them down is an art -the way we put things together. Enjoy and just be.

Rx4PREVENTION 911:
Sit tall at the end of a chair, with sit bones upon chair only, and thighs off. Knees above ankles, Rest your palms upon your thighs, with the elbows under the armpits. Close your eyes and just rest.
Sit and notice your breath. Just observe. No judgment. Imagine you are sitting in this room, by yourself, as you create your own daydream, in your own personal flow. Watch the breath become deeper, slower, quieter and more regular. With this awareness the breath changes and when the breath changes, your nervous system, your mind and you internal organs regulate and shift. Everything goes for a reset. Mindset improves, hope returns, possibility arises and intuition all become sharpened.
Now, inhale through your nose and pull the breath down to your low belly expanding your whole body from the midline to the skin, even the ribs—-PAUSE. Then exhale and bring the breath up to the space between your eyes and feel the body contracting from skin, to muscles, to bones-watch the ribs gently hug your torso. PAUSE.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
Stay with the observation of the inhale, the pause, the exhale, the pause, the inhale, the pause etc. Now, if you wish to invite more of the brain pathways, you can add the sound of OM, Amen, Shalom, Salaam or even the sound of ONE as you exhale. Inhale is full and quiet, and the exhale contains your choice sound. Allow everything to release. See yourself from above AS IF the ceiling was ripped right off the building you are in —you are now the observed, the observer and the observee. This mindset takes you to new places in a daydream that is clearly your own. Maybe you can feel a floating sensation, a whirring in the ears but mostly, see yourself as your happiest you. Still focus on lengthening the space between the inhale, the pause, the exhale and the inhale and the next pause. This loop of creating a deeper, more harmonious quieter and regular breath is medicine for the Mind-Body connection and boosts your immune system to roll with what is, what will be and how you are in it. Elegance is the body beautiful and a breath to inspire it.
INTEGRATION Rx: Use this technology each time you see a red light, when the telephone rings, or see a stop sign and just breathe. It is really just that simple. We have all we need right in our back pocket-your mind, your body and your breath. How well we use it and blend it together is art, as art is the mere putting things together so they are resonant. How well we fit our body with our mind is what makes us well adjusted. This vibration extends to those in your midst, much like the Grandfather Clock phenomenon, each entraining the other. So when we are at our most optimal place of being, so can everyone else.
See your family, your co-workers, your lawyer, your ex in a new light for you taking a hit of your own divine self, as you.
Rewire. Recalibrate. Reinvent.
