This exciting body of work is based on Greek mythology and the fullness and beauty of nature. Dance Visions NY, under the direction of Beth Jucovy, is well known for their glorious programs which bring Isadora Duncan's visions and works to life, rejuvenated and contemporary.
The program features "Tribute to the Greek Gods." This work, to Schubert's Symphony in c major, is in three movements. The first is a tribute to Apollo, god of the sun, the 2nd is a tribute to Dionysus, god of wine and the 3rd is a tribute to Artemis, goddess of the hunt.

The company's Youth Ensemble will perform a suite of dances to Schubert as well. Actress and arts advocate, Shirley Romaine is host and narrator for the event which is presented by the Universalist Unitarian Congregation at Shleter Rock.
