UPDATE: 1 Killed in Overturn Crash, Impaired Driver From Dix Hills Arrested: Police
The crash occurred Friday morning in Wyandanch, police say.

UPDATED at 12:41 p.m. with the name of the person killed in the crash:
A Dix Hills man was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol after his vehicle overturned, killing a backseat passenger Friday morning, police say.
According to authorities, Rosaly Agosto, 31, was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer eastbound on Lake Place when he attempted to turn right onto Brook Avenue in Wyandanch and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over at 12:50 a.m.

Backseat passenger Solomon Maithya, 46, of Wyandanch, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center by Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp. where he was pronounced dead.
The front seat passenger, identified as 29-year-old Dix Hills resident Miguelina Rodriguez, was treated at the scene.

Agosto, who was not injured, was arrested and charged with DWAI by drugs and alcohol. He will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
