80-Year-Old Huntington Woman Killed in Car Crash
The incident occurred early Friday evening in Cold Spring Harbor.
An 80-year-old Huntington woman was killed after police said she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the woods in Cold Spring Harbor on Friday evening.
According to authorities, Eugenia Kouwenhoven, 80, was driving a 2014 Buick Regal westbound on Woodbury Road when the crash occurred at 6:25 p.m.
Kouwenhoven was transported by Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Buick was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
