Bagatelle Civic Association Marks Third Year

Local residential group celebrates achievements with Suffolk County Legis. Lou D'Amaro.

More than three years ago, concerned neighbors living in and around Bagatelle Road in Melville joined together to start a coversation with a local utility to ensure that a new electrical substation would not negatively impact the surrounding community.

After accomplishing that goal, the determined residents realized that they could continue to be a strong voice for the community so they formed the Bagatelle Civic Association.

As the organization approached its three-year anniversary, President Debra Giaime, Vice Presidents Keith Archer and Linda McDonough and members of the Bagatelle Civic Association invited Suffolk County Legislator Lou D’Amaro to a recent meeting at the in Dix Hills to discuss their latest concerns and hear about legislative initiatives and issues.
