The data analysis company Niche looked at academics, teachers and diversity in school districts serving Long Island.
LONG ISLAND, NY — The latest school rankings released by the data analysis company Niche offer a look at how K-12 schools on Long Island compare with each other.
Niche, which recently released its eighth annual version of the rankings, looks at a variety of criteria in determining a grade for both public and private K-12 schools on Long Island, including academics, teachers and diversity.

- Great Neck Public Schools (Ranked #3 nationally). Niche grade: A+.
- Jericho Union Free School District (#5). Niche grade: A+.
- Roslyn Union Free School District (#7). Niche grade: A+.
- Syosset Central School District (#9). Niche grade: A+.
- Manhasset Union Free School District (#19). Niche grade: A+.
- Herricks Union Free School District (#29). Niche grade: A+.
- Hewlett-Woodmere Union Free School District (#39). Niche grade: A+.
- Half Hollow Hills Central School District (#54). Niche grade: A+.
- Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District (#61). Niche grade: A+.
