The fire broke out early Wednesday morning, police say.

Two vehicles outside a Melville home were destroyed by a fire early Wednesday morning, officials say.

Fire officials believe the blaze started in a BMW SUV that was connected to a battery charger outside a Bagatelle Road home, near North Service Road, shortly after midnight. The blaze then spread to an Infiniti sedan that was parked nearby.
