Celebrate Halloween at Walt Whitman Shops
Spectacular fun during Safe Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Photos event
Walt Whitman Shops will offer local children a safe and fun place to take part in seasonal activities on Halloween.
Families are invited to visit Walt Whitman Shops in their costumed best for its Safe Trick-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 31. Costumed children can stop by mall retailers, identified with a pumpkin in its windows, who will give out treats throughout the day (while supplies last). To help plan visits, families can pick up a complete list of participating retailers at Simon Guest Services.
In addition, Melville Lions Club will host Halloween Costume photos and give families an opportunity to preserve the memory of the holiday. Taking place from 12 to 6 p.m. in Center Court, children of all ages are welcome to participate for a donation of $10 per photo; each additional photo is $5. All proceeds will go to the Melville Lion’s Club, which has been serving the Huntington area since 1953, aiding the less fortunate in the community. Funds raised during the event will benefit Simon Youth Foundation™, Simon’s own not-for-profit organization, and various other local charities.
