16 Checks Forged From Melville Charity: Police

A man is wanted for questioning regarding this forgery case

Police are looking to question a man regarding a forgery incident that occurred in Melville in April.

According to authorities, a man deposited 16 fraudulent checks at a TD Bank ATM in Astoria, Queens between April 24 and 28. Police say the checks were forged from Earn & Learn Mentoring Foundation, Inc., a charity located at 10 Mount Misery Road in Melville.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
