Cops Investigating Threat Against Half Hollow Hills High School East
Though police found no suspicious items on the premises, activities after 6 p.m. have been cancelled at both high schools, authorities said.

Suffolk County Police are investigating a reported threat that was made toward Half Hollow Hills East in Dix Hills, authorities said Thursday.
The school was searched Thursday morning. No suspicious items were located, police said.
Police did not reveal to Patch when the threat was received. Yet according to one report, a threat was sent to both the Half Hollow Hills School District and to Suffolk County Police. The note to the school district stated: “im gonna blow up hills east tmrw at 9 am . . . don’t try to stop me; you will all die,” Newsday reported. The note to police said “I am bombing Half Hollow Hills East Tomorrow at 9 pm sharpp.”
