Cops Report Spate of Burglaries in Dix Hills
Five homes were broken into in the last two weeks, police say.

Suffolk County Police are investigating a spate of recent burglaries in Dix Hills.
Police say that five homes were broken into in the last two weeks.
According to police:

- A complainant reported that a rear door of a home on Kinsella Street was pried open on Nov. 18, but it was not known whether proceeds were taken.
- A complainant reported that a home on Pheasant Run had a window broken on Nov. 15, and a laptop removed.
- A complainant reported that a window was broken at a home on Arista Drive on Nov. 14, where jewelry was taken.
- A complainant reported at a home on Princeton Drive that an unknown person entered through a rear door on Nov. 11, though nothing was listed as stolen.
- A complainant reported that a home was broken into on Deforest Road on Nov. 11, resulting in stolen jewelry.
Police say the investigations are continuing.
