County Executive Honors HHH West Valedictorian

Brandon Epstein, of Dix Hills, will attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall.

Half Hollow Hills High School West valedictorian was recognized for his accomplishments by Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone this week.

Brandon Epstein, of Dix Hills, was among several valedictorians from Suffolk County schools who were congratulated for their academic success.

“I cannot wait to see what amazing things these students go on to accomplish, and I hope they bring those accomplishments back to Long Island,” Bellone said in a press release.

Epstien has a 99.98 weighted GPA and will attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He will major in math and physics.

While at HHH West, Epstein was an Intel semifinalist, Siemens semifinalist, National Merit finalist, National AP scholar, MIT PRIMES presenter, Mathletes president and top scorer, Brainstormers president, Spanish Club president and participant in the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad.
