Dix Hills' Barbara Gebhardt Honored by NewYorkBIO

September 4, 2013 - Melville, New York – Barbara Gebhardt, President and owner of Opus Staffing in Melville, was awarded NewYorkBIO’s First Mate award on a special 2013 New2X BIO Cruise hosted jointly by NewYorkBIO and BioNJ.  Ms. Gebhardt was one of three honorees recognized for their support of bioscience in New York State.  She has served on the NewYorkBIO board for four and a half years and is credited with developing a Human Resources educational track for six association annual meetings. 

The NewYorkBIO is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to the development and growth of New York State based biotechnology related industries and institutions.  The association works to strengthen the competitiveness of New York State as a premier global location for biotechnology/biomedical research, education and industry.
