Dix Hills Church Collects Baby Supplies for Needy in Far Rockaway

The Hope and a Prayer Center by the Sea, Community Mission in Far Rockaway receives needed Baby items from St. Luke Church, Dix Hills

St. Luke Lutheran Church of Dix Hills, held a Baby Shower to collect needed items for indigent families in the Far Rockaway community, still recovering from Superstorm Sandy of 2012. St. Luke - Dix Hills, is a supporting congregation of the Kenneth and Karen Ko Hope and a Prayer Center by the Sea, located in a low-income, high-crime area of Far Rockaway. The Mission Center is part of a Community Outreach Program sponsored by the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and affiliated churches.
