Dix Hills FD To Hold Recruitment Fair

Looking to become a firefighter?

The Dix Hills Volunteer Fire Department is holding a recruitment fair this weekend for anyone interested in becoming one of Dix Hills' bravest.

The department is also looking for community residents to serve as EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) on the Dix Hills Rescue Squad. All training for volunteer firefighters and EMTs is free of charge.

The recruitment fair will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dix Hills Fire Headquarters, located at 115 East Deer Park Road.
