Dix Hills FD Honors Members for Outstanding Service
The members were recognized for their response to fire and rescue calls in 2016.
Members of the Dix Hills Fire Department Company one were recently recognized for their response to fire and rescue calls in 2016.
The Company One Member of the Year Award was presented to Ex-Chief Ron Gatto for his outstanding service and dedication. Gatto served as Chief from 1993-1994 and now serves as the chairman of the Dix Hills Junior Firefighter program.

The awards were presented by Company One Captain Scott DiPino, First Lieutenant Terence Vierling and Second Lieutenant Gerard Rosciano, Jr.
