Dix Hills Home Broken Into: Police

Two designer handbags were among the items stolen, police say.

DIX HILLS, NY — A Dix Hills home was broken into on March 17, Suffolk police said. The burglary was reported to the police on Monday.

Someone pried open the window of a Black Oak Court home at 3 p.m. on March 17 and stole cash, jewelry and two designer handbags, police said. The thief is wanted for second-degree burglary.
