Suffolk School Custodian Exposed Himself On Social Media: Police

DIX HILLS, NY — A Dix Hills elementary school custodian was arrested Wednesday after he posted a video soliciting sex and exposing himself on social media, Suffolk police said.

Thomas Winberry, 34, of West Islip, live-streamed video of himself soliciting sex and exposing himself while working as a custodian at Otsego Elementary School, at 55 Otsego Ave., Dix Hills, at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Winberry was arrested and charged with public lewdness after an investigation, Special Victims Section detectives said. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
