Duo Used Stolen Gift Cards at Dix Hills Retail Stores: Police

Police are looking to identify the man and woman who stole a wallet from a car in Dix Hills and went on to make fraudulent purchases in early February.

According to authorities, a wallet was stolen from a car between Feb. 3-4 and the gift cards inside the wallet were used at several area retail stores following the theft.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
