Eagle Scout Who Built 2 Rabbit Hutches Recognized
The newly-minted Eagle Scout was honored by the Town of Huntington for his project, "Every Bunny Needs Some Bunny."

Town of Huntington: On Saturday, August 3, Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci celebrated an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Melville resident Henry Rivas of Boy Scout Troop 708 at the Church of Jesus Christ in Plainview.
“Henry’s dedication to animals, preservation and his community is demonstrated through his Eagle Scout project, consisting of building two rabbit hutches for the educational Holtsville Ecology Site and Animal Preserve,” said Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci.
Supervisor Lupinacci presented Henry Rivas with a proclamation and a pin of the Town of Huntington Seal.
Henry Rivas’ Eagle Scout project, entitled “Every Bunny Needs Some Bunny," comprised of two custom-made rabbit hutches for the Brookhaven Ecology Site and Animal Preserve, completed in 415 total project hours.
