Early Dismissal for Some Today in HHH

The two high schools and two middle schools will be dismissing early.

The following is posted on the Half Hollow Hills school district's website:

Weather Alert for Friday, January 7, 2011

"Due to the impending weather conditions, we are implementing an early dismissal. High School students will be released at 1:10 p.m., and middle school students will be released at 1:45 p.m.  We anticipate that elementary students will arrive home close to the regularly scheduled time.  Additionally, all after school and evening activities are cancelled.

"Please remember due to the early dismissal, the REACH CYA after school childcare program will be closed."

School district officials encouraged residents to continue checking the district's website for updated information.
