2nd Annual Matthew Logan Scarpati Memorial Soccer Tournament

The Matthew Logan Scarpati Memorial Soccer Tournament was created in the memory of 19 year old Matt Scarpati, a HHH East graduate who was killed in July 2009 by a drunken motorcyclist on the Wantagh Parkway. The tournament serves as an annual fundraiser for the Miles for Matt Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization created by the Scarpati Family after Matt's death. The tournament also brings together the Long Island soccer community to celebrate and honor the life of a wonderful young man cut short.

Anyone who wishes to play in the tournament may register a team through the tournament website. All games are 7 v 7, and teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Teams are grouped by level of ability. Volunteers are needed and would be greatly appreciated for the day of the event.
