The 34th Great Cow Harbor 10K Run, one of the most prestigous foot races in the country and nationally ranked, will be on Saturday, Sept 17 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Last year over 5,600 participants ran through the village streets of Northport, New York with another 700 running in the 2K Fun Run / Walk. This event attracts families and participants of all ages. Over 1000 entrants are expected.
On Sunday, Sept 18, follows with the Cow Harbor Day parade (at noon) and street festival from 12-5 p.m. located in harborfront park off Main Street in Northport. Festivities will include amusement rides, games, live music, vendors, boating contests and barbecue style food.
