Firefighters Assist In Chanukah Celebration In Dix Hills
Firefighters dropped chocolate gelts to about 150 eager children at the celebration.
From Dix Hills FD: Dix Hills Fire Department volunteers assisted the Chai Center with a Gelt Drop at their Chanukah celebration and Menorah lighting ceremony on December 5. Dix Hills FD ladder truck 2-8-8 dropped Chanukah Gelt (chocolate coins) to about 150 eager children at the celebration. Chiefs Tom Napolitano, Alan Berkowitz, Joe Williamson and Captain Scott DiPino assisted at the event.
