I grew up in New Zealand, surrounded by nature-led rituals and the botanicals I still draw inspiration from today. I started making skincare at home after my daughter developed eczema and I struggled to find products that felt both gentle and truly effective. What began as a personal solution became a mission: create calm-first formulas that support the skin barrier and help reduce flare risk - without sacrificing results. We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! MELVILLE, NY — A 7-year-old Bronx girl was found unresponsive in a pool at a Melville hotel on Thursday, Suffolk police said.A family member found the girl in the pool at the Marriott Melville Long Island hotel, at 1350 Walt Whitman Road, around 4:50 p.m., police said.The girl was brought to Plainview Hospital in critical condition. She was then transported to Cohen Children's Medical Center in Queens.
