Half Hollow Hills Science Olympiads 2011
The high schools and the middle schools each held one. HS East hosted and so did Candlewood.
Recently hosted the Regional Science Olympiad Competition with approximately 25 schools participating, and 49 teams. Events included forensics, anatomy, magnetic levitation, protein modeling, to name some categories.
At HS East, science teacher Glenn Cochrane was the coordinator of the event.
For grades 6 through 8, hosted the event with scientific categories that included meterology, solar system, ecology,
ornithology, planet, and more.
At Candlewood, science teacher Shawn Dunn was the coordinator.
