OK, so perhaps a Dick Vitale moment needs to be heard, not read? But in any case, Tobias Harris fans can catch the Dix Hills native on ESPN tomorow at noon, when Harris’ Tennessee Volunteers (10-6, 0-2 SEC) host Southeast Conference rival Vanderbilt (12-3, 1-1 SEC).
Vitale—the flamboyant long-time college basketball color analyst—will certainly have opportunities to shout out his praises for Harris, who has had a fast start to his collegiate career and continues to be a bright spot for Volunteer fans.

Tennessee has had an up-and-down season, starting off with seven-straight wins and climbing to seventh in national polls. But beginning one month ago on December 14, the Volunteers have dropped six of nine contests, including an 81 – 75 overtime loss on Tuesday evening to Florida.
For his part, Harris had another strong game, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

"Tobias (Harris), again, another double-double,” acting head coach Tony Jones said following the game, in comments posted on Tennessee’s website. “That's three straight double-doubles for Tobias. The young freshman is really playing consistent basketball for us.”
Harris has had five double-doubles this season, and among his teammates, has the most games (15) scoring 10 points or more. He’s averaging 15.7 points per game, putting him eighth in the SEC.
