HHH Softball Clinic Registration Now Open
Girls entering grades 1-9 will hone their skills for the upcoming season this summer.
Softball season is just a few months away, which means now is the time to practice the basics and prepare for a steller year.
Girls entering grades one through nine will be able to build their hitting, pitching and fielding skills this summer through the Colts Softball Summer Camp, a sports clinic, which combines intensive training within a fun and inviting team atmosphere at Half Hollow Hills High School West.
Hills West varsity coach Rob Rizzo, who played professionaly for the for Rimini Pirates Italian National Team in 2001 and was named the top high school baseball player in Suffolk County, leads the camp.

Donna Upton, a private pitching instructor, Hills West 2008 Ashley Voscilla, who is currently the starting catcher at University of Scranton and 2008 Hills West graduate Alyssa Bitsimis, who currently plays for LaSalle University will also be coaching the campers.
Over the course of either a one or two-week period, campers will develop the main components of hitting including a short, compact swing; learn to perform a quick, smooth catch and accurate throw; hone proper techniques to increase speed and accuracy; and learn drills and mechanics to increase blocking pitches and build an understanding of all aspects of the game.

The first week will take place July 9-13. The second will start July 16 and end July 20. Each week is $125, or $225 for both session.
