In what proved to be one of the highest scoring games of the season, Lindenhurst beat the Half Hollow Hills East T-Birds 62-42 in Dix Hills.
Hills East remained in the hunt throughout the game, but unfortunately was not able to overcome Lindenhurst. This was the last home game of the year for the T-Birds. They will play against the Cougars next Saturday night at Commack High School, at 7 p.m.

Senior wide receiver D.J. Paul was the favorite target of quarterback RJ Nitti. The "RJ to DJ" tandem was responsible for 9 receptions for 251 yards and four touchdowns. Nitti was impressive again going to the air for 360 yards. So far, for the season, Nitti has thrown for 1863 yards.
On the ground Quentin America continues to impress, with 14 carries for 85 yards. Rasheed Williams added 74 yards on 8 carries.
